For those who would rather stay in a cottage, there is North Bay Cottages about 1/4 mile down the street from us. It is directly across the street from the boat docks (fishing area) and the beach. They do not have a web site but their number is (937) 393-2849. About 1 1/2 mile the other way is Schwartz's Country Estate and Rocky Fork State Campgrounds

The Great American Brew Out

What a day to be brewing, sunshine, great music and Alisia's homemade egg rolls! Even though my effeciency was crap I had a wonderful time (Dave's Serman strong ale made it all that better).

We have just started this BLOG and over the next days/weeks we will be sending email messages to members inviting them to join the Dayton DRAFT BLOG.

Thermometers

With the "Big Brewout" comming Saturday, it would be wise to calibrate your thermometers. One way is to fill a cup with crushed ice and then fill it with cold tap water. Allow it to set for a moment. This will be right at 32 F.
