Using 2004 BJCP Style Guidelines (see http://www.bjcp.org/ for list)
Two bottles—any style. Draft beer accepted in 1L or larger bottles. Entry fee: $5 per entry. A check for the appropriate entry fee(s) to ‘Dayton DRAFT’ must accompany your entry!
First Place winners will receive handsome wooden plaques! 2nd & 3rd place inners get ribbons.
Best of Show, Best of Dayton and Best of Ohio prizes awarded.
No recipe required! Just name/address and style entered.
Multiple entries per style allowed (only one eligible for award per sub-style).

We will be discussing the Dayton DRAFT BeerFest which will take place on Saturday, 15 September 2007 at the Columbian Hall. Additional information will be posted in this BLOG as it becomes available.

Good Afternoon All,

As a reminder, I will be conducting a Beer Judge Certification Program exam preparation class beginning on the 28th of July. The ten Saturday morning classes (9AM - 12 PM) will be held at my home in Beavercreek near the Fairfield Commons Mall. Projected class dates are listed below. The $110 fee covers the exam registration fee, beer samples, and handouts.

If you are interested, please send an e-mail reply to me and provide the $110 fee (cash or check) at the club meeting this Friday (July 13th). Again, I need a minimum of four people to conduct the class.

If you know of anyone outside the club that might be interested in this class, please forward this information on.
